Developer - Colin "Monty" Montaldo

Known to everyone as “Monty”, Colin Montaldo hails from inner-city Melbourne. For over 30 years Monty owned and operated a specialist Porsche muffler manufacturing company designing and distributing his creations worldwide. His diverse and innovate talent in engineering and stainless steel is highly respected. Monty has channelled his extensive experience into the design and construction of 32 Kerr. He has personally customised all the steel components for the functional and ornamental features of the apartments and been unsparing in his attention to detail. The development of 32 Kerr apartments has been a project of passion for Monty.

Architects - NMBW Architects

NMBW Architecture Studio is one of Melbourne’s most respected and renowned boutique architectural firms. With its emphasis on urban engagement and culturally specific design, NMBW was an ideal fit for the vision of 32 Kerr apartments. NMBW projects have been published in national and international journals, including Architecture Australia, Architectural Review Australia, Backlogue, Casabella, Transition, Urbis and Aardvark. NMBW has received a number of design awards from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, including the “Melbourne Prize” for contribution to the public realm.
